Don’t fall victim to the summertime slump! It is estimated that a great deal of the learning done over the school year is lost during the frivolity and fun of summer days.
It is important to continually engage students in the learning and literacy processes during the summer months, both to help with retention and help them have a more productive year ahead. It is important to frame learning as a life-long pursuit as opposed to something that we “turn off” in favor of fun. Learning is fun!
