Of course, there is. Meditation is a great way to gain all those benefits and even more. In the graphic below, the top 10 benefits of meditation for students are presented. The majority of them refer strictly to “The Transcendental Meditation”, which is a specific technique of mantra meditation developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Its practice involves the use of a mantra and is practiced for 15–20 minutes twice per day while sitting with one’s eyes closed. However, a simple meditation practice of closing one’s eyes and focusing on a peaceful place, imagining a tranquil color or counting with deep sustained breathing, would also have welcome benefits to a cramming student.
